Wonderfully lazy

I look forward to this season all year. Chas is off work and we are sleeping in and watching movies, eating carefully (trying not to overeat) and going on walks when it is nice outside instead of chilly. I love this. Perhaps it is why I haven't gotten too bothered about not having a lot of money for Christmases. We are together and our activities are usually relaxing. The baking that I enjoy doing so much can often be given away so we don't eat it all and there is a good feeling in our house. And good smells.

Yesterday we made sugar cookies to decorate and eat. Mavis decorated a couple, too.
