our back yard

This was our back yard when we returned home from Idaho. Every year that we have traveled at Thanksgiving we have missed the leaves change. This year we caught the beginning of it. I should have taken a picture of campus or our neighborhood but I think of such things too late.

This second picture of snow was our back yard this morning. A lovely two inches of snow to help us feel festive and Christmas-y. I love this time of year and not having had snow at all last year was frustrating. Now I have had at least one snow fall in my own yard and all is a little bit better.
